An introduction to the Johannes Oentoro Library and its resources


The Johannes Oentoro Library consists of three locations:  the Central Library, the Medical & Nursing Library, and the Graduate School Library.

Each site offers services, facilities and study space. There are also comprehensive collections of books, journals (print and online) and other course-related materials, such as videos, magazines, CDs, DVDs, newspapers and more.

The Central Library, opened in July 2006, is located on three floors of Building C on the main UPH campus and includes approximately 3,633 m² featuring:

  • 340 student seats
  • 7 study rooms (2-5 seats)
  • 5 group study rooms (5-10 seats)
  • 1 large group study room (15 seats) 
  • 2 multimedia viewing rooms (one with 15 seats; one with 40 seats and 30 computers) 
  • wi-fi access
  • lockers
  • photocopy machines

Room Reservations

Group Study Rooms 4.2 – 4.6 are free to use on a first-come, first-served basis.

Group Study Room 4.1, Multimedia Viewing Rooms 2, and the Seminar Room all need to be reserved. Library members may reserve these rooms by using the online Room Reservation System or by stopping by the Reference Desk on the 2nd floor or calling (021) 5460901 ext 1382.
