ONE UPH Library Accreditation

Monday, December 8, 2025 ONE UPH Library welcomed 3 field accreditation assessors from the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (PERPUSNAS), namely Bapak Andi Pargo Simamora, S.Sos, Ibu Yusa Khaerunnisa Molingka, S.Pd, and Bapak Renda Khris Ardhi Artha, S.Sos, M.Si. The session was opened with remarks from Mrs. Dra. Made Ayu Wirayati, M.I.Kom. (Director of Standardization and Accreditation of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia) who attended the event online, and during the session also joined Dr. Eric Jobiliong (Vice Rector for Academic, Research and Innovation of Universitas Pelita Harapan), as well as Dr. Dhama Gustiar Baskoro, S.S., M.Pd. (Manager of ONE UPH Library & UPH Press) along with several Library staff who were involved as a team of accreditation files. Accreditation is done by conducting a direct visit to see the facilities and infrastructure at ONE UPH Library's main library, The Johannes Oentoro Library. In addition, the accreditation process is also carried out by paying attention to the completeness of the files from a total of 9 fundamental instruments for library services, namely: (1) Library Collection Components, (2) Library Facilities and Infrastructure Components, (3) Library Service Components, (4) Library Staff Component, (5) Library Organization Component, (6) Library Management Component, (7) Innovation and Creativity Component, (8) Reading Level Component, and (9) Community Literacy Development Index Component. The accreditation process was positive and warm, with an intense exchange of ideas, feedback, and recommendations during the session that lasted from 8am to 4pm. In conclusion, ONE UPH Library received a score of 94.13 or equivalent to “A” and was recommended “Excellent” (Sangat Baik). This accreditation result demonstrates ONE UPH Library's commitment to providing collections, facilities, and infrastructure that are relevant to today's academic needs without discrimination or distinction for each library campus location. Sahabat Perpustakaan – ONE UPH Library 2025/2026

ONE UPH Library is proud to introduce our Sahabat Perpustakaan, a group of internship students from the Class of 2025 who have made meaningful contributions to supporting various library operations. Through their dedication and enthusiasm, the Sahabat Perpustakaan not only gained valuable professional experience but also played an important role in enhancing the quality of services for all library users. They are : Maressa Naulitta Malau - English Language Education Sarah Victoria br. Sinurat - Elementary School Teacher Education Adrien Vanmelki Sidabalok - Mathematics Education Jenar Puspajati - Mathematics Education Noel Prasetyo - Mathematics Education Agatha Ivanna Tirza Priandyni - Biology Education Christy Novi Ariany Koroh - Biology Education Masta Debora Purba - Biology Education Theresia Cotidia Christi - Biology Education Careen Kezia Myintan Urupani Saragih - Social Science Education During their internship, the Sahabat Perpustakaan supported a variety of library services, including digitalizing collections, organizing and shelving books to supporting borrowing and returning procedures, assisting visitors, and participating in literacy and promotional activities. Their contributions have helped ensure the smooth operation of library services and a positive experience for all users. 1. Internship students are assisting library users by providing information on library access, which requires an activated student ID card, while also engaging in literacy and promotional activities to support library services. A distinctive feature of these students is the special pin they wear while assisting in the library, a small badge that reads "Sahabat Perpustakaan ONE UPH Library". ONE UPH Library expresses its sincere apprecitation for their dedication and meaningful contributions in supporting the library's activities and strengthening the literacy on campus. ...

Duta Baca ONE UPH Library 2025/2026

ONE UPH Library is proud to introduce our Duta Baca ONE UPH Library 2025/2026, a recognition given to members of the academic community who actively and consistently use the library for academic growth and personal development. Through this initiative, we hope to inspire more people at UPH to strengthen reading habits and support a growing literacy culture on campus. This year, the library has selected three representatives from the academic community: Lecturer – Dr. Yonathan Winardi, M.Pd. ONE UPH Library has appointed Dr. Yonathan Winardi, M.Pd., English Lecturer at the Faculty of Education UPH, as the Duta Baca ONE UPH Library 2025/2026. He frequently visits the library to seek the latest references, read new collections, and borrow books to enrich his teaching materials. Dr. Yonathan also initiated the Reading Book Club, which involved both lecturers and students, a safe and supportive space to read, discuss ideas, share experiences, and practice English communication. The program, held in June 2024, strengthened collegial relationships, broadened perspectives, and boosted participants’ confidence in speaking English. His commitment has led ONE UPH Library to see him as the ideal figure to become the Duta Baca ONE UPH Library 2025/2026. Staff - Isa Kristina Situmorang Representing the staff category, Isa Kristina Situmorang from Corporate & Continuous Learning, has been selected as a Duta Baca ONE UPH Library 2025/2026. Ms. Isa often uses the library as a place to learn and work, and she actively engages with the library’s collection for personal and professional development. Her positive habit of reading and using library resources makes her a strong example of how the library can support continuous growth for staff members. Her frequent presence in the reading area reflects the significant role staff can play in shaping a literacy-driven work environment. Student - Grace Angelica Christy From the student community, Grace Angelica Christy, a Medical Faculty Student from the 2023 cohort, has been chosen as a Duta Baca ONE UPH Library 2025/2026. Grace is one of the top book borrowers of the year and frequently uses the library to study, read, and look for additional references. Her consistency and enthusiasm in using the library make her a role model for other students in developing strong reading habits. They were chosen for their consistency, active involvement, and positive support in using library services and participating in various literacy activities. Through this appointment, we hope to inspire more people on campus to make better use of library facilities, improve their literacy skills, and help build a stronger reading culture at UPH. ...
