ABOUT LIBRARY CELEBRATION WEEK

Library Celebration Week (LCW) is a special annual event hosted by ONE UPH Library as a joyful celebration of knowledge, creativity, and academic engagement within the university community. This year’s celebration invites all members of the academic community—students, lecturers, and academic staff—to reconnect with the library space through a variety of meaningful and enjoyable activities.

Taking place simultaneously across The Johannes Oentoro Library, Medical School Library, UPH Medan Library, and UPH Surabaya Library, LCW features an exciting lineup of programs designed to foster interaction, inspiration, and exploration. One of the highlights is the UPH Press Book Exhibition, where visitors can enjoy exclusive discounts of up to 20% on a curated selection of UPH Press’ finest publications—a rare opportunity to expand personal collections with academically valuable works.

In addition, a Book Review session highlights academic contributions from UPH alumni, while a creative Photo Challenge hosted on Instagram encourages participants to reflect on academic values such as integrity in fun and expressive ways. LCW is more than just a celebration—it is a shared experience that strengthens the sense of community and appreciation for the role of libraries in academic life.
