Facilities offered at the library

The Johannes Oentoro Library is located on the 3rd floor of Building C UPH main campus: on the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th floors, referred to using building C floor numbering. Each floor offers slightly different facilities and serves other purposes. 

Every visitors must follow our visiting policy to access the room you booked, otherwise the booking will be invalid. Read about the room use policy here.

Overview

Approximately 3,633 m², The Johannes Oentoro Library features, in total :

  • 340 student seats
  • 7 study rooms (2-5 seats)
  • 1 Multipurpose room in working space (60-70 seats) 
  • 1 Large rooms in working space (10-12 seats)
  • 1 Medium room in working space (5-8 seats) 
  • 1 Lecturer room in working space (10-12 seats)
  • 3 Small rooms in working space (3-4 seats) 
  • Computers in periodical & self-service room (10 computers)
  • BI corner
  • Wi-fi access
  • Lockers
  • Photocopy machines (only for scholarship students & staff)

WiFi

Our Libraries are facilitated with free WIFI access to UPH Academics (students, lecturers, or staff). Please use #oneuph WiFi and log in with UPH email SSO and for our guest, use #UPH@Guest WiFi with the password is WayTruthLife.

Room Booking Policy

Several study/working rooms are available on the 2nd & 4th floors. Only rooms in 4th floor can be reserved, the other rooms are on a first-come first-served basis. Make sure to secure your dates as fast as possible.

  1. Room booking are made via this link
  2. Room can't be book on Saturday and public holidays.
  3. Room booking are for academic activities only. 
  4. Only rooms on the Johannes Oentoro Library 4th floor can be reserved. 
  5. Galilee room can only be used by lecturers (no booking require). 
  6. Room booking must be made first at least 1 hour before using. 
  7. Room booking confirmation will be sent via email to the applicant. 
  8. Room booking can only be made for the current month. 
  9. Room booking can only be made for a maximum of 4 hours (2 reservations) per day. 
  10. Schedule changes can be made by requesting a reschedule through the email response. 
  11. Equipment provided in each room is in accordance with the guidelines specified in the room booking form. 
  12. For cancellations, please contact our library staff. 
  13. Room booking will be canceled if the applicant does not show up or provide confirmation within 30 minutes of the scheduled time. 
  14. Do not change the layout of the room, please contact library staff if necessary. 
  15. Please maintain order, tranquility, and cleanliness of the room.
